Today, when you intervened in the kid's Minecraft game, it was funny and slightly terrible. But it quickly became apparent that it was inspired. I saw types and shadows of all that we've been learning from God lately.
- The Server giveth and the Server taketh away, and it may not always be obvious why...but the Server knows more than we do and has our best interest at heart.
- The quickest way to learn not to cheat is to lose goodies from the inventory.
- We all do better when we have a purpose. Creation for creation sake is fun, but to really work together- nothing motivates better than survival mode.
And then you did something that really showed the heart of God.
The server joined the game. Like God sent His own Son to be a part of the story. The kids have never been this engaged and never seem to be so happy. It was amazing.
I'm sure I'll continue to unpack other things, but I wanted to take a minute to tell you how impressed I am by you.
