Israel's time on earth is quickly approaching its end and it seems to be taking the same hard-hearted approach we saw in Jonah on his mission from God. We have one chapter in each book and then, chronologically, we'll start in to Isiah and Amos- prophets who were less petulant to God's message.

In my attempt to read the Bible in chronological order, both the Blue Letter Bible and the NIV chronological Bible have Jonah up next, in the midst of II Kings and II Chronicles. I recently did a bible study on Jonah, so I'm anxious to see what comes of this personal study.
