The Ryrie Study Bible footnote reminds us that there are 12 men named Obadiah in the Old Testament. We know nothing about this one except that his name means "Servant of God". The NIV bible also notes that it means "servant of God"; but Wiersbe translates it as "on who worships God."...continue reading "Obadiah 1"
