If you want to change a behavior, one of the first things you can do is to just catalog the behavior. Want to lose weight, keep a food journal. Want to stop smoking? Keep a journal of when you have cravings and look for triggers.
All of this to say that an interesting side affect of my Lent blog commitment to blog every day of Lent... I am embarrassed how many entries refer to long days, tired, busy, stressed.
I don't know what that means, but I'll need to think about it. And it wasn't just me making an observation about my day, it was an excuse or explanation for why I had a short post or was catching up on missed posts...like I am doing tonight. Two missed posts in row...a new low for my little blog series. And why? Not feeling well, check. Crazy deadlines at work to get caught up on, check. tired and stressed, check.
Definitely something to think about.
