Lent 2016: March 13, Day 33– Fun with Pressure Cooking

Short post tonight, trying to balance all of my responsibilities...

I've been cooking quite a bit with my new electric pressure cooker. It's been a lot of fun and most of the meals have come out really well (and good.) (A little grammar joke)

Today was a big experiment, shredded pork (shoulder/butt). I used an online recipe called Kalua Pork, and it used garlic, bacon, and salt. Then cabbage as a side.

The pork was very moist and have good flavor, although not a totally distinct flavor.

Either way, the recipe looks like a keeper.

I think I already used this one, but I am grateful for my new cooking toy!
