Psalm 23

I'm asking God for a specific miracle in my life; and this season is robbing me of normal sleep and peace. A few years ago I read a book by Lou Giglio who challenged the reader to meditate on the Lord's Prayer for 30 days every time a need comes to mind or you heart is unsettled. Looks like it's time to take up the challenge once again.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside quiet waters.

He restores my soul;

He guides me in the path of righteousness

for His name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I fear no evil; for Thou art with me;

Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.

Thou dost prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

Thou hast anointed my head with oil;

My cup overflows.

Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
