Joe's Boy Scout pack held their annual Pinewood Derby races this past weekend. But for Patrick and Joe, the fun started all the way back in mid-November when we made our annual sojourn to Larry and Dede Mayfield's house for assistance getting the car's shape just right. This year, Joe transformed the standard block of wood into a knight, straight off of the chess board.

February 14 – All Year Long
It's February 14, Valentine's Day, with all that entails. We all know it is a bullshit, artificial holiday and yet- it still seems to have a hold people.
For us, Valentine's Day has run the gamut.
Elohim, God of creators
In October, my husband and I went "back to church". We started attending a new church, Rocky Mountain Calvary, which had been introduced to us through friends years ago.
I am now in a women's bible study which is studying the names of God, using Kay Author's book, Lord, I Want to Know You.
